TAYLOR: 12:35 PM. Houston County 911 dispatched a grass fire out of control off Friendship Lane in Taylor.
Responding Taylor Volunteer Fire Department and Rehobeth Fire - Rescue, Taylor Police and Houston County Sheriff Department.
As units were responding Houston County 911 updated the call to a structure fire and a vehicle was in danger.
On arrival to the scene the first incoming fire engine company quickly announced water on fire. The structure, a mobile home, received some damage around the skirting. The grass fire had gotten out of control and other residential structures were quickly in danger.
The combined fire departments quickly got the fire under control.
