JACKSON COUNTY FL:    Today is a holiday. The bosses ( well they think they are ) are at home, sucking your government paychecks, in the recliner, under the air conditioner. Like those high paid County Commissioner Chairman and Commissioners.


The department head wheels, laid up under the air conditioner sucking up the coolness of the air conditioner.


However, the indians are battling the heat at 101 degrees taking care of the public.


Jackson County Sheriff Donnie Edenfield is the TOP COP of Jackson County Florida. He is at the top of the food chain, the man in charge. And he could be laid up in the recliner under the coolness of the air conditioner.


But, Jackson County Sheriff Donnie Edenfield is in uniform, wearing the same gear as a Jackson County Patrol Deputy, in a bullet proof vest as Deputies are required to wear, in the 101 degree weather. Sheriff Donnie Edenfield is working side by side with the other Jackson County Deputies, responding to calls, directing traffic when needed, doing grunt work and leadership work as every other Jackson County Deputy is doing.


Making sure the citizens and guests of Jackson County Florida are safe, protected and cared for.


As Sheriff, Edenfield gets paid the same. If in his recliner as other elected people are sucking up the coolness of the air conditioner, or, sweating his butt off while serving and protecting.


So rather than coolness, Sheriff Donnie Edenfield is sweating as the men and women serving is doing.
