UNNITED STATES MARSHALL SERVICE: Ran across a news story, not local, which featured the United States Marshall's Task Force.
The article was brief but it explained a little about the United States Marshall's Fugitive Task Force.
Our area has a team also. It is made up of Federal and local law enforcement officers. They track down some of the worst of the worst with outstanding arrest warrants. The officers are trained, they have a lot of resources that enables them to search, and officers trained in just plain and simple good old fashioned law enforcement work.
But when this team assembles and goes to apprehend someone, they take extreme safety precautions, and they are not there to play. They are very serious in what they do, and take all precautions that everyone goes home safely the defendant goes to jail.
While RSN knows some on the United States Marshall's Fugitive Task Force, we will not disclose any details that we may have learned about them over the years or identify any of the law enforcement officers were know on the Task Force.
But if you hear they are looking for you, go ahead and surrender. Because apprehension is not an option.
