DOTHAN:    2:34 AM    A Dothan Police officer yelled over the radio in foot pursuit on the 100 block of South Oates. The officer apprehended the suspect that was running.


This was about 2:04 AM.


After apprehension Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) was called to the scene to check the officer who had lacerations to the side of the face. Fire was also to check the person fled and taken into custody because he was dry tased.


The officer was not transported. The suspect who ran from the officer was transported. But transported to the Dothan City Jail.


Unknown the reason the person had rabbit blood and tried to hop away from the officer.
