HOUSTON COUNTY:    2:46 PM.  Houston County 911 dispatched emergency units to a motor vehicle accident on Third Avenue and Saunders Road.

Responding to the scene Houston County Sheriff Patrol Lieutenant Tony Turner, ALEA Trooper Carlton, Dothan Fire Engine Four, Southside and Pilcher Ambulance.

A pickup southbound in Third Avenue pulling a trailer with wood was struck by a passenger car which ran the stop sign.

The driver of the car received minor injuries. The driver was transported to a Dothan by Pilcher Ambulance. In fact Joey Pilcher himself and Ron Durham were working the ambulance today. 
This intersection is surrounded by Dothan City limits. The intersection is outside the city limits of Dothan. That is why ALEA has to work accidents at this location.

Ferguson Wrecker responded to tow the vehicles.
