There is no foul play reported in this event at this time.
Dothan Police Chief Will Benny had the Dothan radio shop take the Dothan P25 Motorola radios and enhance them to be able to communicate with Houston County Sheriff Department which operates on a UHF Digital Kenwood radio system.
When Dothan Fire Chief Larry Williams and Houston County Volunteer Fire Chief Association learned of that enhancement, Dothan and Houston County was able to get the Dothan Fire radios enhanced where they can now communicate directly with the 17 Houston County Volunteer Fire Departments and 5 EMS which run in the county. That enhances mutual aid and makes team work happen.
NOTE: If no foul play suspected why does RSN refer as "Edged Weapon Assault"? The code dispatched is "Edged Weapon Assault". But information is possibly self inflicted.
