2:55pm Kinsey Police Officer Involved in Rollover Accident

Kinsey - Kinsey Police called out over Houston County primary channel that there was a motor vehicle accident with a rollover on 431 at Headland Avenue. He also advised that the accident would be involving his unit that had overturned.
Kinsey Police Chief immediately asked Houston County communications to dispatch Headland Rescue, Kinsey fire and Headland fire.
Multiple Houston County deputies along with Alabama state troopers and Dothan Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah responded.
Upon arrival of the accident, it was found that there was two cars involved. One car had T-boned the side of Kinsey police car, causing it to flip multiple times in the median.
Kinsey police officer was assisted from his vehicle and transported to a Dothan hospital by a Pilchers ambulance, who was passing the scene coming back from another call and stop to assist. he was transported non-emergency to a Dothan hospital.
The driver of the second vehicle, and had no complaints.
Alabama state troopers are in charge of investigating the accident.
While, finishing up at this accident Houston County Communications dispatch a second vehicle accident a quarter-mile up 431 from our current location in front of Gardens of Memory.
