REHOBETH:          This past Thursday at Rehobeth Elementary School a 5th grade student was stabbed with a pencil point 14 times.

The altercation occurred during P.E., on campus, while school was in session.

For a student to be in the 5th grade would mean the student was around an age of 11 years old. Give or take a year and if the student had failed a grade.

While UNCONFIRMED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT, reports are the student who is alleged to have stabbed the student with a sharpened pencil was bullying another 5th grader. So the child being bullied pushed him down.

Then the student who is alleged to have committed the stabbing grabbed a sharpened pencil and stabbed the other student 14 times in the neck and shoulder area.

The injured student is reported to have gone to the nurse. His dad picked him up and carried the student to seek medical treatment.

The student who is alleged to have committed the stabbing was placed in school suspension. UNCONFIRMED BY SCHOOL OFFICIALS.

On Friday the Houston County Sheriff School Resource Deputy is reported to have filed charges against the student who is alleged to have stabbed the other.

While the students are under age, there has been no press released from the Houston County Sheriff Department or Rehobeth Elementary School concerning this incident.

Also UNCONFIRMED by school officials, the cameras installed to record the areas where the students were at, well, guess what? They were not working!!!!

HINT:   If you install cameras to record so you will know what is going on or see what happened, have them working. And if they were not, a 30 day unpaid vacation of the Principal, that would get the attention of the other Principals!!!

The reason UNCONFIRMED is, due to the students age. That is what RSN would probably be told if call and ask. But I have confirmed this did happen.

UPDATED @ 9:43 AM

The cameras were working. The school system did handle the situation correctly.

An investigation is underway. The inschool suspension was not accurate.

The school system is handling correctly. But being a juvenile details can not be released.

But rest assured the kids are safe at the school.
