3:22pm Two Car Accident 431 N Just Above Kinsey PD Accident

Kinsey - As wrecker trucks were removing the vehicles from the first accident at 431 N and Headland Ave, Houston County Communications Tones out Kinsey Fire Department again for another vehicle accident with injuries and road blockage less than a quarter-mile North of the current location.

Traffic was backed up in both directions over the hills north and south.

One vehicle had ran into the back of a pickup truck due to the traffic being slowed down.

After hitting the truck the car swerved off into the edge of the woods.

Headland Fire and Rescue had just released from the first accident and was turning around to head back north. They handled the second accident while Kinsey remained on scene of the first.

One patient was transported to a Dothan Hospital by a Headland Ambulance non-emergency. Driver of second vehicle refused transport after being checked out by Headland Medics.

Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Dothan Houston County EMA Director Chris Judah and Alabama State Troopers responded to this wreck also.

ALEA Troopers are in charge of investigating the accident.
