DOTHAN:     3:25 PM    Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police - Dothan Fire and Pilcher Ambulance to Ernest Drive ag loaded into the and Kinsey Road to a call referred to as "man down".

A "man down" is a call when someone is laying on the ground or in a vehicle and are not responsive or laying down on the ground.

This call was a person in a truck at the stop sign of Ernest and Kinsey Road which was unresponsive.

Dothan Police Patrol and Dothan Fire Battallion Chief were the first units on the scene. Dothan Fire Battallion Chief reported CPR in progress.

Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ) and Pilcher Ambulance arrived shortly thereafter.

Prior to the ambulance and fire engine company arriving, two Dothan Police Officers and Dothan Battallion were already performing chest compressions and administering CPR in an effort tosave this man's life.

It is not the emergency responder's who make the final decision. That decision is made a much higher level than anyone on this earth. But two Dothan Police Officers and one Dothan Fire Battallion Chief were giving all they had until joined by four more Dothan Fireman with more equipment and two on a Pilcher Ambulance.

At 3:34 PM the patient is being loaded into the ambulance for transport to Southeast Health. The PATIENT DOES HAVE A PULSE !!!!

GREAT JOB to Dothan Police, one uniform and one plain clothes, and the Dothan Fire Battallion Chief in the initian of CPR and work. The patient leaves the scene with a pulse.
