DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:      Last night ( Thursday May 9, 2024 ) was the first night of the Alabama Sheriff Association PCA PRO RODEO.


The PRO RODEO started May 9 and runs through Saturday May 11. It is being held at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds. Start time is 7 PM.


There is 1.5 million in prizes and this is a sanctioned rodeo.


Some Alabama Sheriff's have equipment on display such as Tactical vehicles used by SWAT, Command Posts, Helicopters, Air Boats.


The CORN DOG man and other food vendors are set up.


Come out and support the Alabama Sheriff's Association Youth Ranches and Alabama Sheriff's Association.


Many area Sheriff's from all across the 67 counties in Alabama are on hand for the rodeo.


Last night, Thursday, was fun with a lot of excitement.
