DOTHAN:     3:29 PM    Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police units to 1236 South Oates Street, Dothan Prep Academy to a free for all fight.

PARENTS DO NOT SHOW UP UNLESS CALLED FROM

DOTHAN CITY SCHOOLS OR DOTHAN POLICE

Multiple Dothan Police units responded and called for additional assistance. Some of the fight issues were in front of the gymnasium and some of the issues were occurring in the back of the school where buses loaded.

Multiple Dothan Police units were on the scene quickly and were getting the situation under control as fast as possible.

Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) responded and Pilcher Ambulance responded. Some students were complaining of difficulty breathing.

Dothan Fire Deputy Chief Chris Etheridge is on the scene. Dothan Fire Chief Larry Williams was on the scene. Dothan Police Command Staff is on the scene. Dothan Police and Dothan City School Security is on the scene. Dothan School Superintendent Dennis Coe is on top of the situation.

No students have serious injuries. Most difficulty breathing.

And parents, if your child was involved in causing the issues, you need to place onto the buttocks of your child belts until your child can not sit down. It is not the responsibility of the school or law enforcement to raise your child but it is your responsibility. So now DO IT!
