DOTHAN: 4:27, PM Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 2908 Ross Clark Circle, Colony Square Apartments. The fire was in the laundry room.

Multiple Dothan Fire Engines responded to the scene.

At 4:33 PM Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 2312 South Oates Street. Reports of smoke inside the business.

OKAY ... The first call, Dothan Fire Engine Companies 10 ( West Main Street ), Dothan Fire Engine Company 3 ( Westgate ), Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Southside ), Rehab Truck, Battaltion Chief Messer, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police responded.

The Dothan 911 dispatchers bustin and hustlin.

THEN ... The second call, only six ( 6 ) minutes later, structure fire at 2312 South Oates Street. Dothan Fire Engine 1 ( Central ), Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ), Dothan Fire Engine 5 ( Eastside ), Dothan Fire Battaltion Chief McLendon, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police respond.

Dothan 911 Center is now in the stage ABOVE bustin and hustlin. They are in full ATTACK MODE in getting everybody everywhere and as much information as they need.

The first units at Colony Apartments report nothing visible, all units stand by on Level 1 staging, investigating. A small fire was in the laundry room but is now out.

Battalion Chief Messer is getting fire engine companies returned to service ASAP. He has units staged for the other 911 calls that have not happened yet.

In the meantime the fire engine companies are arriving at the second fire call. A strip mall, single story commercial structure, nothing visible on arrival, all units go to level 1 staging. On the first arriving fire engines investigation they report a slight smoke haze in the building.

Shortly thereafter the primary fire engine reports all units return to service, it was food that burned in the microwave. All under control.

PEOPLE ... there were football games on!!! HOW DARE THERE BE EMERGENCIES DURING GAMES...

Dothan 911 Staff, Dothan Fire Department, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police ... OUTSTANDING JOB.

It gets me excited when it starts rapid development and all goes as designed. JOB WELL DONE...
