EUFAULA:    4:29 PM     Eufaula Police Department, Barbour County Sheriff Department, Barbour County Coroner Chip Chapman are conducting a murder investigation of a 16 year old.

The 16 year old is reported to have been pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula. The 16 year old is reported to have died of a gunshot would.

The firearm assault is reported to have occurred in the Forrest Hills area of Eufaula.

Eufaula Police and Barbour County Sheriff Department along with the Barbour County Coroner's Office are conducting a joint investigation at this time.

Since Friday, in Barbour County - Eufaula, this makes the fourth investigation into deaths. Two are confirmed murder investigations. Two are being investigated as a murder until all facts are known. And a search for the fifth victim is underway but it is not confirmed a fifth victim.

This firearm assault - murder occurred this afternoon ( Monday, June 10, 2024 ).
