DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:     On Thursday evening at the Alabama Sheriff Association Pro Rodeo they asked for volunteers to capture a steer.


Houston County Sheriff Deputy Dusty Oswalt was one of those volunteers.


Well, the steer had others ideas. Apparently he smelled Deputy Oswalt and realized he was a law enforcement officer. So the steer decided he would "resist apprehension".


You see the steer lower his head and give Deputy Oswalt a head butt to the chest.


But as with criminal offenders the Deputy has to deal with, Deputy Oswalt was back on his feet and in hot foot chase again.
