DALE COUNTY:   4:35 PM    Dale County Law Enforcement Officials have been on the scene of a death and conducting an investigation.


The scene is located on Dale County Road 59 at Adams Mill near Midland City.  


Ozark - Dale 911 received a 911 call a male was in a vehicle under the bridge at Adams Mill. The reports to Ozark - Dale County 911 the subject was unresponsive.


Midland City Police Department and Dale County Sheriff Deputies responded to the scene. On arrival a male subject was found deceased.


Dale County Sheriff Criminal Investigators responded and began conducting an investigation.


The 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney was notified.


Dale County Coroner John Cawley responded to the scene and pronounced the person dead on the scene. The decision was made to send the body to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for a medical examination to determine the exact cause fo death.


At this time the investigation is ongoing. Foupl play is not ruled out but also not suspect. Every death has to be investigated as the worst case - backwards to make sure all evidence is secured and nothing is missed.
