HARTFORD: Hartford Police responded to Geneva County Road 45 where they found a female deceased.
UNCONFIRMED reports are the females male companion was on the scene when police arrived. The male subject, UNCONFIRMED, is reported to have been providing lillte or no information.
This case is reported to be in the city limits of Hartford.
Hartford Police Chief Annie Ward called on Agents with ALEA - State Bureau of Investigation which has taken over the lead in the death investigation. According to sources this has been declared a murder investigation.
At this time it is unknown why, but Hartford Police Chief Annie Ward and ALEA - State Bureau of Investigation called in Dothan Police Bomb Team.
Geneva County Coroner Donny Atkinson responded to the scene. Coroner Atkinson has identified the deceased as 25 year old Angel Nicole Stout of Graceville. The Coroner said she was living at the residence with a unnamed male subject.
Law Enforcement authorities are not releasing many details at this time. The case is under intense investigation.
The 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney, Kirke Adams, has requested the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences to conduct an autopsy. No cause of death has been released at this time.
