DOTHAN: 4:35 PM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police to Southeast Health where a firearm assault victim presented themself to the emergency room. The patient arrived by private auto.
Reports to Dothan 911 the firearm assault is reported to have occured at or near Third Avenue and Dothan City Cemetery.
UNCONFIRMED at the time of this writing if the firearm assault at Clayton Street and Tuskegee and one on Third Avenue at Dothan City Cemetery are connected. However Clayton Street and Tuskegee Street runs off of Range Street which is near each other. And will answer why preliminary information to law enforcement seemed sketchy.
Dothan 911 has dispatched Dothan Police Officers to Third Avenue and Dothan City Cemetery to attempt to find the scene.
Dothan Criminal Investigators are investigating both incidents and scene.
