UPDATED @ 8:14 PM. 6:42 PM with Scene Pictures... Helicopter Crash Lands in Headland

HEADLAND: Around 5:15 PM Headland Fire and Headland Rescue responded to a report of a helicopter crash at the Survival Flight Helicopter had crashed landed.
Headland Rescue transported one to the hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.
UPDATED @ 6:14 PM.
Survival Flight had been dispatched to a auto accident in Holmes County Florida on Highway 79. The flight mission was cancelled when the Survival Flight crew was about the National Peanut Festival. The crew aborted the mission and returned to home base in Headland.
As Survival Flight landed in Headland the helicopter was coming in harder than normal. The pilot laid the helicopter on the side.
Immediately after impact the the flight medics started working working on the patient. Within minutes of impact the flight medics, Adrian Thomas and Mark Reynolds were working on the pilot.
Headland EMS transported to a Dothan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The flight medics are being treated and observation conducted of the flight medics.
Henry County Coroner Derek Wright identified the pilot as 61 year old Douglas Keith Davis of Dothan.
Prayers are with the family of the pilot and the flight crew.
