EUFAULA — The pilot who died in a plane crash at the Eufaula Municipal Airport has been identified.


Barbour County Coroner Chip Chapman identified the victim as 35-year-old Nathan O’Donnell.


O'Donnell was the pilot and only occupant of the Piper Comanche PA-24 single-engine plane.


The crash occurred sometime Wednesday, January 31, but went unnoticed until another plane flying overhead saw the wreckage.
