Houston County warming shelters:
All Houston County shelters will provide warm meals and cots. Residents are encouraged to bring pillows and blankets. No pets or weapons will be allowed within the shelters.
- First Baptist Church Family Life Center
- Open from 5:00 p.m. Tuesday to 11:00 a.m. Thursday
- 300 West Main Street, Dothan
- Westgate Church of Christ
- Open from 5:00 p.m. Tuesday to 11:00 a.m. Thursday
- 619 Westgate Parkway, Dothan
- Kinsey Senior Center
- Open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- 6899 Waldon Drive, Kinsey
Geneva County Shelters:
- Vintage Room
- 512 South Commerce Street, Geneva
- 3:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday
- Will Jenkins Community Center
- 601 West Mulkey Avenue, Geneva
- Open Friday to Sunday
Coffee County Shelters:
- Enterprise Christian Mission
- 231 Geneva Highway, Enterprise
- Opens Tuesday and closes when temperatures reach 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
- Warm food will be provided and when the shelters reach their max capacity, vouchers for local hotels will be handed out
Dale County Shelters:
- Perry Recreation Center
- 223 Community Drive (Ozark)
- Will be opened as a warming station from 5:00 p.m. on 1/16/2024 to 7:00 a.m. on 1/17/2024
