DOTHAN: 1:09 PM Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire, Pilcher Ambulance and Dothan Police to 2190 Ross Clark Circle, FLying J Truck Stop, to a medical emergency.
The call was a person in a semi truck unresponsive.
On arrival of emergency units they found the truck driver in the truck, deceased.
The dispatcher for the trucking company had requested the truck be checked because the driver had not made contact with the trucking company and was not on schedule. When the driver was checked on he had apparently died in the truck.
Dothan Police Patrol and Criminal Investigation Division and Houston County Coroner responded. There was no evidence of anything other than a natural death of the driver.
