BLOUNTSTOWN FL:     This past Friday night the football team from Marianna Florida played the football team from Blountstown Florida. High School football.

During the third quarter Blountstown Palyer Gavin Lambeth tackled Marianna's Ethan Lipford. After the tackle Lambeth is reported to have pushed Lipford into the ground with his helment on, twice. Lambeth is then reported to have taken Lipford's helment off striking Lipford in the head with the helment.

Officials stopped the violence from the Blountstown player on the Marianna palyer. Following the attack reports are Lipford could not walk.

Lipford was life flighted to a Tallahassee Florida trauma center.

The incident is reported to have been captured on film.

Officials ejected Lambeth from the game and he is suspended for at least one game until officials decide the punishment. It is my understanding criminal charges will be or have been filed against Lambeth.

No word yet on any reason given for the attack following the tackle.
