5:53 PM... Kitchen Fire in Chapelwood

DOTHAN: At 5:53 PM.. Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 110 Trunbury (in Chapelwood).
6:00 PM.. The first unit on scene advised smoke visible. Battalion Chief Watson has command.
6:03 PM... Engine 3 advised water on fire and fire knock down and under control, Captain Shiver is advising they are searching for extension. All residence made it out okay. One occupant received minor burns to the arm and face but was treated on scene by paramedics.
It appears the fire was contained to the kitchen area only. Engine 3 arrived on scene and had fire knocked down and under control with in 10 minutes of the initial dispatch.
Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance from Pilcher's. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.
AT 6:17 PM.. Chief Watson has released Engine 6 to return to service to help cover the Westside of Dothan.
