ELBA - COFFEE COUNTY:       3:27 PM.    Coffee County 911 dispatched Elba Police, Elba Fire, Enterprise Rescue, Coffee County Sheriff Department, and Enterprise Rescue to a possible murder.


The location was Elba Village Apartments located at 1584 Caroline Street.


The preliminary information to Coffee County 911 was the person was possible deceased and blood was everywhere.


On the arrival of emergency units they confirmed the person was deceased.


Coffee County Coroner Arnold Woodham was then dispatched to the scene. The Coffee - Pike County District Attorney James Tarbucks also responded to the scene.


This death was declared a murder.


Coffee County Sheriff Department and Elba Police Department are in charge of the investigation.
