COVINGTON COUNTY: 6:16 PM Covington County 911 dispatched Covington County Sheriff Deputies to a road near Sanford Volunteer Fire Department to a child found in a swimming pool.
Multiple Covington County Sheriff Deputies were on the scene in minutes. Very quick response.
Covington County Sheriff Deputies reported the child to be breathing but unresponsive. The Covington County Sheriff Deputies were about to transport in the Sheriff Department vehicle when EMS arrived.
The child was transported emergency to a hospital.
