DOTHAN: 06:12 AM. Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire at 300 PineHill‘s Drive off Third Avenue.
The reports to Dothan 911 are smoke and flames visible.
On the arrival on the scene Dothan Fire Battalion Chief Ash confirmed smoke and flames are visible, this is a working structure fire, offensive attack. Chief Ash instructed Dothan 911 to have Dothan utilities respond and there was a live lower line on the ground.
The fire hydrant connected to is a dead fire hydrant and no water available. Chief Ash monitoring the water level on the fire engines pumping water while fire engines are connecting to a second fire hydrant. Chief Ash is being very mindful and alert to existing water levels of fire engines on the scene and crews inside fighting the fire until water source is connected.
Chief Ash confirmed a “verbal” all clear as to residents, which means everyone was evacuated and no one is reported to be inside the residence.
Dothan Fire Engine Companies 5 ( Eastside ), Engine 1 ( Central ), Engine 2 ( Lakewood ), Rehab and Pilcher on the scene. Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) was on a medical emergency call when the structure fire call came in.
