JACKSON COUNTY FL:   5:41 PM CST    Jackson County Sheriff 911 dispatched Jackson County Fire - Rescue, Campbellton Florida Volunteer Fire, Jackson County Sheriff Department, Florida Highway Patrol and Florida Department of Transportation to a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

The accident was just south of Campbellton, south of the big curve, on Highway 231.

A semi truck appeared to be northbound on Highway 231 and for some reason went to the southside and overturned on the driver side.

The accident appeared to be the one vehicle. The semi blocked the entire southbound lanes of traffic.

Between Jackson County Sheriff Department, Campbellton Volunteer Fire Department and Florida Department of Transportation the south bound lanes of traffic were detoured.

The semi, at the time of dispatch, was initially reported to Jackson County Sheriff 911 as a gas tanker. On the arrival of the first emergency units it was not a gas tanker. It was a semi box truck loaded with papertowels.

Jackson County Emergency Management was on the scene of the accident.

Jackson County Fire - Rescue ambulance left north bound on Highway 231. UNCONFIRMED, but beleive one was transported to a Dothan hospital. Do not beleive injuries are critical.

Jackson County Sheriff Donnie Edenfield responded to the scene.

Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene and in charge of the accident investigation.
