HOUSTON COUNTY:     The elected members of the Houston County Commission and Chairman of the Houston County Commission will meet on Monday, June 24, 20224 at 10 AM. 

The Houston County Commission and Chairman meet in the third floor of the Houston County Administrative Building in the 400 block of North Oates Street, Dothan, Alabama.

Each Houston County Commissioner ( excluding the Chairman ) is estimated make a salary of $ 1,500.00 per meeting.

REGULAR AGENDA

1. Request to award bid for Merchant Services to GovT Portal, Inc., lowest bidder meeting specs – Revenue Dept.
2. Request to authorize Chairman to negotiate settlement of past due consumer use taxes owed and waive the associated penalties and interest – Peter Covert, CAO
3. Request to enter into an agreement with the State of Alabama for reimbursement of emergency repair expenditures for pipe replacement on Ashford Rd, damaged on March 8th, 2024 – Road & Bridge
4. Request to award bid for motor grader blades to lowest bidder meeting specs – Road & Bridge
5. Request to award bid for tire retread and/or repair to lowest bidder meeting specs (joint bid with City of Dothan) – Road & Bridge
6. Request to approve a replat of Lot 18 Phase III and Lot 21 Phase IV of Chase Ridge subdivision – Road & Bridge
7. Request to enter into an agreement with the State of Alabama for reimbursement of storm debris removal – Road & Bridge
