SOUTHEAST ALABAMA: Today SARCOA, Southeast Alabama Regional Council on Aging, notified the Senior Citizens Centers meals would not be able to be delivered.
The vendor, GA Foods, had catalytic converters stolen off the trucks and they could not provide the food.
SARCOA, on Brannon Stand Road, informed the Senior Citizens Centers they would have to make arrangement for the lunch meals for the seniors. When one center made arrangement, and they were notified after 8:30 AM or 9:00 AM, SARCOA then told one Senior Citizens Center, OH NO, we can’t provide that, which was chicken fingers and sides.
Out of the 36 Senior Citizens Centers to get meals only 17 are reported to have gotten them.
ALABAMA SENATOR DONNIE CHESTEEN
Last year the Montgomery Bureaucrat in charge of the feeding program and management of GA Foods met at the City Hall in Geneva. In that meeting was Alabama Senator Donnie Chesteen and Alabama State Representative Jeff SORRELLS along with Taylor Mayor Billy Snell.
Senator Chesteen, well the football coach came out in him and he told GA Foods get it together or get out.
RSN has looked at the food. Attempted to give a blood hound the food SARCOA, Alabama Governor’s Office feeds the seniors. Blood Hounds do not typically bite but that blood hound threatened to maul someone if they fed him that food.
But SARCOA, GA Foods, and the Alabama Governor’s Office - Ms. Brown, is bound and determined to feed the senior citizens the food.
ABUSE OF THE ELDERLY
If it continues then someone could get arrested for Abuse of the Elderly For the food they are attempting to make the seniors eat. Then the Senior Center, who feeds about 65 seniors, are placed in an emergency situation. Then when the plans are made SARCOA starts complaining about what they are able to provide.
Senator Chesteen, time to put into action what the football coach does when the team willfully disobeys.
