HOUSTON COUNTY - AVON:    5:21 PM    Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Deputies to a burglary of a residence - in progress.

The location was 7147 East U.S. Highway 84, Ingram Mobile Home Park. The persons reporting to Houston County Sheriff 911 reported the subject was still present.

When the primary unit arrived it was reported the suspect exited the residence and then returned immediately into the residence and possessed a AR-15.

Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Ashford Police, and Houston County Sheriff Patrol Lieutenants Tracy Waed and Robert Reichert.

The subject spoke with Lt. Ward on the phone, exited the residence and re-entered the residence. In a shirt few minutes the subject exited the residence, unarmed. 

Houston County Sheriff Deputies quickly put the puzzle together which was not how it was reported. The call was changed from a burglary in progress, and deputies returned to service and all OK.
