DOTHAN:   The host of family and friends are braving the rain and cold, right now at 6:54 PM, in the Lowe's parking lot.


These friends are working in the rain and cold with the family of SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE for the 14th annual Boston Butt and Rib Cooking. The proceeds go to support the Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center.


SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE  passed away on May 11, 2001 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Westgate Parkway.


The family of SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE - Bill and Lisa Goree along with brother Seth and wife Erin wanted to do something in the memory of SARAH ELIZABETH GOREE. They decided on the boston butt and rib sale to help others.


Over 14 years the Goree family, surrounded by a host of friends, have worked and donated several hundred thousand dollars to the Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center.


The family has decided this is the final year for the Boston Butt and Rib Sale.


Come out on Thursday and Friday for the delicious food.
