DOTHAN - HOUSTON COUNTY:   Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza is President of the Alabama Sheriff Association. The Association is comprised of all 67 Sheriff’s elected in the State of Alabama.

This next week at the National Peanut Festival fairgrounds, Highway 231 South of Dothan, Sheriff Donald Valenza will be host along with all Alabama Sheriff’s to the first Annual PCA Pro Rodeo.

The dates are May 9 through May 11.

This will be a three ( 3 ) day event that is family friendly event. This event will be live streamed worldwide.

Sheriff’s from all over the State of Alabama will have static displays of Sheriff Command Centers, SWAT Boats, Air Boats, MRAP’S, K-9’s, Sheriff Posse Patrols and more.

The fairgrounds will open early in order to allow people to see what Sheriff’s across Alabama have as to equipment.

At this time RSN does not know the hours or what will happen each day other than what is posted on the Alabama Sheriff Association web site.

Whenever RSN can find out the specific details with times and what will happen each day we will post.

The proceeds will go to the Alabama Sheriff Association and the Alabama Sheriff Youth Ranches.

RSN has not received any information from the Executive Director of the Alabama Sheriff Association for promotional material for this event. So when that is available, hopefully before the event, we will post.
