DOTHAN:    7:15 PM      Dohtan 911 dispatched Dothan Police units to a residential burglary in progress at 610 Virginia Street.


The person reporting to 911 reported the burglary was involving a domestic dispute and possible domestic assault.


When Dothan Police arrived the suspect fled on foot. Dothan Police spotted the suspect running at Edgewood and Fortner. Dothan Police K-9 apprehended the suspect.


Dothan Police on the scene requested Dothan Fire to respond. The K-9 bite on of the Dothan Police Officers.


The suspect is in custody.
