COLUMBIA - HOUSTON COUNTY: 1:15 PM Houston County 911 dispatched Columbia Fire - Rescue, Houston County Sheriff Deputies to a critical accident at Cephus Rollins Road and East State Highway 52.
The person reporting to Houston County 911 reported this was a ATV Accident. The reports to Houston County 911 reported the patient was off the roadway a distance. The ambulance probably could not make it to the patient. The patient was reported to have difficulty breathing and serious injuries.
Ashford Rescue was dispatched and Webb Volunteer Fire was dispatched. Columbia Rescue also responded to the scene.
The patient was transported to a Dothan hospital. The final extent of injuries and exact patient’s condition is unknown.
This was a private property accident; ALEA - Troopers do not investigate private property accidents.
