HOUSTON COUNTY: Multiple Houston County Sheriff Deputies made a feloy traffic stopt of on South Oates Street just inside the intersection of Ross Clark Circle and South Oates.
The vehicle the Houston County Sheriff Deputies made the felony traffic stop turned into the parking lot of Flying J Truck Stop.
A felony traffic stop is where law enforcement has a reasonable belief the person or persons in the vehicle could pose a significant danger to law enforcement or others.
Through the information obtained by the Sheriff Department Patrol Officers and the 911 Dispatchers the license plate number on a black Chevrolet truck, a California license plate, came back as reported stolen. The truck was occupied by three people.
The Houston County Sheriff Patrol Shift Commander, Lt. Reichert, and multiple Deputies could be seen with weapons drawn and all safety precautions in ordering the three people to slowly and carefully exit the vehicle.
All three are detained and in the custody of Houston County Sheriff Department. Patrol Shift Commander Lt. Reichert called for Criminal Investigation Divison to respond.

GOOD JOB to the men and women, both the 911 Dispatchers no one ever see - just hear by phone or radio, and the law enforcement officers involved in the recovery of this vehicle and/or suspects. Now comes Criminal Investigation Division to work with California Agency and putting all of the facts together.
