HODGESVILLE:      6:32 PM.   The unseen glue that makes all of the connections between the citizens and emergency services, Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched a moderate injury accident at 5245 Hodgesville Road.

NOTE:    The homeowner where the accident is known. They WERE NOT in the accident. The driver struck their driveway.

A passenger car was northbound on Hodgesville Road. As the driver approached the 5200 block of Hodgesville Road the driver ran off the right side of the road striking the culvert and spinning the car around facing back south.

The air bags were deployed. The driver’s wife was not far behind and came up on the accident.

Other than a bump to the side of the head the driver received no injuries and refused medical treatment. 

Hodgesville Volunteer Fire Department, Rehobeth Fire - EMS, Houston County Sheriff Patrol Lt. Reichert and Deputy Goodson, ALEA - Trooper Spencer ADKINSON, and Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management responded.

ALEA - Troopers are in charge of the accident investigation. Houston County Road and Bridge will have to repair the driveway.
