OZARK - DALE COUNTY:    The common ingredient in all emergencies from every step is the men and women who serve in the 911 Centers.

They are the connection between the citizens and emergency responders. Each time the phone rings they never know what they will be faced with when the answer 911 - Where Is Your Emergency. 

Why is this the first question? In case you get disconnected.

With each breath, each answer of the phone, each radio transmission, they never know what is coming their way. And their zeal and intelligence they bring to the job means saving lives and saving emergency responders lives in gaining as much information as possible.

The Ozark - Dale County 911 Board operates the 911 dispatchers for law enforcement - fire - and EMS for everyone in Dale County but Daleville Department of Public Safety. Under the leadership of 911 Director Paula Simmons, these men and women do a fantastic job.

While I will not get into specifics, the men and women in the Ozark - Dale County 911 have been faced with some tough calls. Some very stressful calls and situations that came as they asnwered 911 calls.

While I will not explain them, I ask for you to lift each man and woman who works in the Ozark - Dale County 911 Center up in prayer for today and days ahead as they work to provide the response needed to emergencies.
