8:16 PM Structure Fire Dispatched On Prevatt Road

DOTHAN: 7:47 PM Dothan 911 dispatched multiple Dothan Fire Engine companies to reports of a structure fire in the 1200 block of Prevatt Road just past the intersection of Beverlye and Prevatt Road.
On arrival of Dothan Fire Engine Company 4 ( Southside ) all incoming fire engine companies were instructed to go to Level 1 staging. That means, DO NOT connect to fire hydrant or lay a water supply but prepare. Engine 4 reported a single story residential structure with nothing visible.
Within a minute or so Engine 4 reported it was a dumpster fire behind the residence. All fire engine companies were returned to service and Engine 4 handled. There were three Dothan Police units on the scene.
