JACKSON COUNTY FL:      On August 20,2024 the registered voters of Jackson County Florida will go to the polls for the primary election. One office on the ballot is Jackson County Sheriff.

When former Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts retired four years ago that left no incumbent seeking election. There were several candidates seeking election.

The registered voters of Jackson County elected Donnie Edenfield as the Sheriff for Jackson County. Following the election then Sheriff Lou Roberts allowed Sheriff Elect Donnie Edenfield to begin working along side of Sheriff Roberts and in the Sheriff Department so that he was prepared day one when sworn into office as Sheriff.

During the Interim period before assuming the full duties as Sheriff and after Donnie Edenfield assumed the full duties of Jackson County Sheriff, he has given more than 100% to the people of Jackson County. RSN has wondered when the man sleeps and rests.

From performing administrative tasks required as Sheriff, to helping respond to calls ranging from a stalled motorist, dog complaints, burglaries, shootings, deaths, the Jackson County Sheriff Deputies look around and there is Sheriff Edenfield.

From searching for missing or drowned persons on the water, look in the boat and there is Sheriff Edenfield.

In staff meetings, Sheriff Donnie Edenfield instructs the deputies, do your jobs, do your jobs with professionalism. When someone says they know Sheriff Edenfield, he instructs the deputies, do your job. Sheriff Donnie Edenfield demands the deputies work with professionalism, respect for the public, A quest for truth and justice. He demands no less from each and every person who serves within Jackson County Sheriff Department.

When controversy strikes, Sheriff Donnie Edenfield welcomes inquires into the actions of the department and deputies. A very straight forward and honest man serving as Sheriff.

Sheriff Edenfield has some opposition for Sheriff and some opposition from some people in Jackson County. But that is because he is a no Nonsense type of person who demands excellence in serving the people of Jackson County.

In watching Sheriff Donnie Edenfield as he has served as Sheriff, he has given his full devotion to the citizens and guests of Jackson County to make sure they live in a safe and secure county. And he is on the job each and every day working to make the department better serve the citizens and to make sure the citizens are served to the full degree.

Evaluate each person running. And from watching Donnie Edenfield, the registered voters of Jackson County did a great job last election when they elected a true - dedicated public servant devoted to their safety and security.
