DALE COUNTY:      Dale County Sheriff Mason Bynum and members of Dale County Sheriff Department, Dale County Coroner John Cawley, 33rd Judicial Circuit District Attorney Kirke Adams are on the scene of a murder in Dale County.


The scene location is in the 2300 block of South County Road 67. The scene is between Midland City and Echo.


Dale County Sheriff Department is the primary agency in charge of the murder investigation.


DALE COUNTY SHERIFF MASON BYNUM HAS CONFIRMED THE SUSPECT IS IN CUSTODY AND THERE ARE NO THREATS TO THE COMMUNITY.


Details are not being released at this time. The investigation is underway. Dale County Road 67 is closed at this time.


More information will be released but At this time Sheriff Bynum and Criminal Investigators, Coroner and District Attorney are in the middle of the investigation.


The body will be transported to the Montgomery Division of Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for examination.
