MIDLAND CITY:    8:56 PM   Midland City Police activated the blue lights on the police car to make a traffic stop on a black Cadillac with no license plate.

The person "under" the blue lights did not make the decision but the person "in front of" the blue lights made the decision to not stop. The driver of the black Cadillac then put the pedal to the metal.

The vehicle was estimated at driving at speeds near 100 MPH south bound on Highway 231 from Midland City. Information was passed to Dothan Police and Houston County Sheriff Department.

The vehicle then turned towards the south. Midland City Police lost radio contact with their police officer.

The vehicle traveled on Highway 605 at Brannon Stand. Apparently the vehicle hit the access road and entered West Main Street in the east bound lanes around Westwood Drive intersection. The vehicle hit the ditch on the southside of West Main and back onto the roadway. The Cadillac blew a right rear tire. One suspect was taken into custody.

You can not escape Danzey of Midland City Police Department. He has a great track record of catching you!

Midland City Police and Dothan Police are searching the vehicle and attempting to determine what the driver's allergic reactions are to blue lights.
