DOTHAN:     On August 23, 2023 the Dothan Mayor and Associate Commissioners held a work session concerning the budget.

On September 5, 2023 the Dothan Mayor and Commissioner held a reguslar scheduled commission meeting. This was the meeting to approve or not approve the 2023 - 2024 Operating Budget for the City of Dothan.

D4 Commissioner John Ferguson requested that item and several items following to be tabled due to more questions he had.

RSN did not attend the budget work session on August 23. So tonight RSN pulled the minutes of the budget work session. And they are posted for you to see.

For D4 Commissioner John Ferguson's questions to be answered he needs to ask the questions. Other than D4 Commissioner Ferguson name being listed as being in attendance the minutes did not reflect any statement, question, concern or anything that bothered D4 Ferguson.

No idea what he is concerned with. And D4 Commissioner Ferguson did not express his concerns publically in the September 5th meeting. So his employers ( YOU ) have no idea what his concerns are. And staff does not except for discussion behind closed doors out of the ears of his employers ( YOU ).

Not picking on D4 Ferguson. I am all for him asking questions. The Mayor and Associate Commissioners do need to ask questions because a lot of manure happens directly under their nose. So all for the questions. But ask them where your employers can hear them.
