COTTONWOOD: Tonight Cottonwood High School and most Houston County Schools held graduation ceremonies.
Cottonwood High School, unofficial count, had about 70 students walk and receive their diplomas for their 12 years plus kindergarten.
Tonight marks the beginning of a new chapter of life for these and all seniors graduating High School. Some will continue their education journey in college and some will enter the work field.
But life changes tonight. And we wish each graduate a safe journey as they walk forward. Be safe!
THANK YOU to the administration and teachers, lunchroom staff and custodians, School Resource Deputies who have impacted each one of these student lives. You each played a role in their success of the school life.
CONGRATULATIONS.
Also a special THANK YOU to Rehobeth Rescue. They loaned an ambulance to Cottonwood Rescue in order for EMS service to be at the graduation. By loaning the ambulance it allowed Cottonwood Rescue 911 Ambulance to remain available for any 911 emergencies and to have an ambulance at the graduation ceremonies in the event of a medical call. Cottonwood Rescue is part of the 130 square miles they serve and donated their time to on hand for graduation. So THANK YOU Rehobeth and Cottonwood for your part in the graduation.
Thank You to Cottonwood Police and Houston County Sheriff Deputies for your time of being at the graduation to help make sure all was safe and secure.
