FT. PAYNE AL.:     Lovetown Volunteer Fire Chief Jimmy Dixon who also serves as Vice President of Houston County Volunteer Fire Chief Association just notified me of three local Volunteer Fireman being Honored tonight.


Chief Jimmy Dixon and others did not know in advance, but the 4th Annual Volunteer Firefighter’s Association honored Pansey Volunteer Fireman Larry Givens who served many decades in Pansey and passed away with cancer.


They also honored two more attempting to get information on. Think one from Napier Field and Shorterville, but not sure on those areas.


Chief Dixon will provide additional information when he returns.
