HOLMES COUNTY FLORIDA:       On Sunday afternoon late, after 6:00 PM, a Slocomb man died in a single vehicle accident in Holmes County Florida.


A well respected man in the Slocomb community, 59 year old Wayne Ford lost his life in the single vehicle accident.


Retired from Wiregrass Electric Co-op and working with Rex Lumber Company, Mr. Ford was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident.


The accident is investigated by Florida Highway Patrol. FHP was assisted by Holmes County Sheriff Deputies.


Friends of Mr. Ford said he was a good man who was well respected by his current co-workers, co-workers from Wiregrass Electric and the Slocomb community.
