p>DALE COUNTY: On Friday, June 10, 2022, along Dale County Road 263 there was weather damage. There was extensive damge from weather.
The home owners were coming home and from the Pinckard side there were trees down along the roadway which prevented them from reaching their home. So they turned around and attempted to come in from the other direction.
If you take Highway 84 West from Dothan towards Daleville, reach Houston County Road 9 and turn right, cross into Dale County, cross the bridges, Dale County Road 263 is the next road to the right.
The weather destroyed a two story bard with large steel beams in concrete in the ground, took a child's playhouse and fliped it, bounced it like a basketball and destroyed it. The weather uprooted trees all along the roadway.
Dale County Commissioner Chic Gary was on the scene both Friday and Saturday. Dale County Sheriff Deputies, Dale County Emergency Management, and Dale County Road and Bridge.
Today Ridgecrest Baptist Church Distaster Relief Team was on the scene.
This afternoon Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah toured the damage. It is just north of the Dale-Houston County line.
There were no injuries. Property can be repaired by not lives. So the residents and everyone is glad there were no physical injuries.
