Headland - ALL KIDS ARE SAFE. PRECAUTION ONLY. School Resources Officer Dennis Cobb overheard a conversation as a student was getting out of a vehicle this morning at school about a weapon being brought to the school. Cobb placed the schools on lock down not knowing what the student was referring too. 


Multiple Henry County Deputies and Headland Police are on the scene investigating at th this time. 

Henry County Sheriff Blankenship was in the scene to make sure everything ran smoothly  


Again there has been no threat or danger of any kind. Only from a possible over heard statement was causing taken. 


10:20am All clear has been given and school has returned to normal
