DOTHAN: 8:00 PM. DOTHAN 911 dispatched Dothan Police - Dothan Fire - Multiple Pilcher Ambulances to Murphy Mill Road and Montgomery Highway. Several 911 calls were rapidly coming into the 911 Center reporting the accident.
Dothan 911 reported to responding emergency units several vehicles involved in the accident.
On the arrival of the first emergency units it was reported four vehicles involved in the accident with heavy damage.
Involved in the accident were some SUV and a passenger car.
At least one patient transported was transported under a trauma alert to Flowers Hospital.
Dothan Police closed Murphy Mill Road for a period of time.
Traveling north on Montgomery Highway, turning left on Murphy Mill Road. Between Montgomery Highway and the entrance into the Old Mill Restaurant is where the accident was located.
A vehicle was on the Northside of Murphy Mill Road with the entire front end missing. The engine and parts from the vehicle were on the Southside of Murphy Mill Road in the parking lot of Murphy Mill Convenience.
Unknown how many were transported to the hospital.
Dothan Police investigated the accident.
