Accident with Injuries at Flynn Rd and Redman

Dothan - 7:10pm Dothan Communication dispatched Dothan Fire Engine 6, Dothan Police and Pilchers Ambulance to a Motor Vehicle Accident at Flynn Rd and Redman Rd. While units were responding Communications advised there was two cars involved and one of the vehicles overturned in the ditch. Truck 3 and Battalion 2 then responded to the scene as well to assist with any extrication needs. Upon arrival Captain Elliott Glover of Engine 6 advised there was two cars both in the ditch with major damage. Engine 9 under the leadership of Captain Rusty Smith was available by radio when the initial call came in and responded to assist at the request of command. Truck 3 arrived to assist with any extrication needs and Battalion 2, Chief Messer, arrived to assumed command of the scene. An additional Pilchers Ambulance was dispatched due to multiple patients. After investigation it was determined there was no entrapment of patients in any vehicle. Both Fire Medic 6 and Medic 9 transported emergency with a Pilchers Ambulance as a trauma alert to a local hospital. Dothan Police is in charge of investigation the accident.
